| Indian Journal of
Youth Affairs is published half-yearly in January and
July by the Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, New Delhi. The Journal
examines critical contemporary issues and presents
vital, practical information for studying and working
with young people.

training, health, criminology, employment and culture

| The Journal
welcomes articles, reports of research studies and
research based papers on youth work – policies, plans,
programmes and allied themes. Articles are selected on
the basis of relevance of the topics, clarity in
presentation and correct language.
| | Each Submission
should be accompanied by a declaration that the material
is original and has not been published earlier.
Submission of an article does not guarantee publication
- which depends on the judgment of the editors and
reviewers as to its relevance and quality. The Editor
reserves the right to reject any article requiring
substantive editing. Articles once sent will not be
returned.
| | Language: Contributions may be
in English language only.
| | Format: Contributions should be
typed or printed on a word processor, double-spaced, and
with ample margins on one side of the page. Only an
original typed copy or a photocopy of equivalent quality
should be submitted.
| | Length: Ordinarily Contributions
should not be less than 2,000 words.
| | Abstract: An abstract of about
40-50 words should be included with the manuscript,
stating the purposes of the study or investigation, main
findings and the principal conclusions. It should be a
kind of mini research announcement which is
self-contained and gives the overview of your paper. Do
not include any information that is not given in the
body of the article. Do not cite references or use
abbreviations or acronyms in the abstract
| | Tables and Figures: Figures,
tables, images, and graphs should all be included within
the text of the manuscript and should be clearly
numbered and cited in the text and in the endnotes where
appropriate. If this is not possible, they should be
provided separately, and their exact locations in the
text should be specified.
| | bbreviations: Please explain any
abbreviations used unless they are immediately obvious.
| | References: References should be
listed at the end of the article, also double-spaced in
the following sequence.

| | Identification : Contributors
are required to provide on a separate sheet their name,
designation, the name of the departments and
institutions to which they belong, official and mailing
address along with E-mail ID.
| | Submission: In order to expedite
the editorial process and the publication, contributors
are requested to send their manuscripts by e-mail as MS
Word Document attachment followed by a hard copy of the
same by post. If submitting by post, please send a hard
copy of the manuscript along with a floppy disk / CD
containing the file of the manuscript and all endnotes.
Contributors will be acknowledged soon after receipt of
their manuscript. They will also be notified if their
manuscript has been accepted for publication.
| | Contents of recent Journals

| | We welcome books,
research papers, and other publications related to any
aspect of youth work for review. Authors, publishers,
and institutions are requested to send one copy of book
for review. However, priority would be given to research
based publications. Be assured that all your books will
be reviewed at least briefly which will be used by
researchers, and professionals. This will ensure that
your ideas will go a long way and in particular to the
right people.
