Education
Education at Netaji Nagar
community has always been a
priority of the Kendra. This year,
17 girls/boys were admitted to
NDMC School, in classes ranging
from I to VII. These children were
being taught at the centre, who
were then enrolled in the School as
per their age and level of learning.
The Kendra also assisted six
students in getting admission at
the Indira Gandhi National
Open School. |

Independence Day
To celebrate Independence Day,
Vishwa Yuvak Kendra organised a
community programme for the
children at Netaji Nagar on
15 August 2008. The day was celebrated by the children of
Netaji Nagar with lots of fun and
gaiety. Several outdoor games,
singing and dancing events were
organised. More than 100 children
of the community actively
participated in various events and
competitions, which lasted almost
two hours. |
