The Kendra organised a five days residential programme in collaboration with Vimochana and BAIF from 9-13 April, 2008, at St.Mary School, Kalgatki. Vimochana Development Society, an organisation working for the welfare of the farmers at Kalgatgi is headed by Father Jacob. Vimochana takes technical help from BAIF (Bharatiya Agro Industries Foundation).

In the year 2007 – 08, the Kendra organised Agro-based Entrepreneurship Development Programmes in nine states. The main objectives of the programme were to create awareness amongst the farmers about the technological breakthrough in agriculture as well as the programmes, policies and schemes of the government. To evaluate and to assess the impact of Agro-based Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, Kendra organised a 'Farmers' Meet' from 05 – 08 May 2008.
