From time to time, the Kendra welcomes interns and offers in-house training opportunities to young individuals wishing to get a hands-down experience in development work, it also arranges for their appropriate placement amongst voluntary organisations working in allied areas of interest.

Recognizing the paucity of authentic data on subjects of relevance of youth, Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, has continually engaged itself in research, albeit on a modest scale. Studies encompassing topics relating to rural youth, students unions, women's issues, and tribal youth, have been completed by the Kendra in recent years.
