| Abstract: : The software industry is one of the most sought after sources of employment. The various factors attributing to this boom from the employee perspective include salary package, work culture, international linkages, affluence and so on. India is one of the IT hubs of the world, cashing on the intellectual capacity of its masses, and the market forces of the industry. However, of late, employability of the new aspirants (freshers) is an emerging concern when it comes to hiring talent.
