| Abstract: :: Terrorism has engulfed the entire world and is posing threat to many lives. It has become the biggest social problem having serious repercussions on the society. There is no denying the fact that lot of policy decisions have been taken to tackle such a serious malady which is disrupting the entire social order, but a lot more needs to be done in this direction. In this context the present paper tries to make an attempt to understand terrorism as a social problem with the youth being the major perpetrators of violence. The paper tries to make a thorough intellectual probing into the phenomenon of terrorism from a theoretical perspective, and also attempts to analyse various casual factors related to it. | |
